Mission Statement

 

Class Act Performing Arts Academy provides a high-quality performing arts education that will instill a love of music and dance to last a life time. Class Act also provides the training necessary to attain personal excellence and strengthen self confidence while supporting wholesome family values.

 

Vision Statement

 

We envision a thriving G–rated performing arts center where youth  and  adults  can  learn  skills  in  the performing  arts  in  an   environment  that  is  free from  questionable music, costumes and choreography.

 

School Philosophy

 

As said in our mission statement we strive to provide students of all ages with the skills they need to enjoy music and dance for a lifetime. We want all our students to achieve the level of training they desire (whether it is for the recreational or ‘professional hopeful’).

Things that set us apart are:

·         Our students wear modest attire in class and performances.

·         We are a performance based studio rather than competition based

o        We have several performing groups

§         CAD Co. (auditioned dance company)

§         Kick Line (does kick line numbers as well as parade routines)

§         Talent Team (non-auditioned musical theatre)

§         Totality 2 (auditioned musical theatre group)

§         Totality (premier auditioned musical theatre group)

§         Theatre Company (non-auditioned)

§         Group Vocal Class (will perform at a few events throughout the year)

·         We have developed a graded syllabi for each dance genre so that all teachers are consistent with their teaching the levels offered as well as providing students guidelines so they know ‘where they are and what they need to achieve to move to the next level’

·         We have floating floors, large mirrors, quality Barres, and viewing windows for parents.

·         We maintain a comfortable, clean facility with conveniently stocked shoes, leotards etc for all your class and performance needs.

·         We hire teachers that support our mission/vision

·         We have a large calendar with events clearly posted, as well as on line newsletters and parent folders.

·         We provide customer service by offering phone services from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday;  1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Friday, and 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays
